RED AEDE – Association of Spanish design companies – opened a new era focused on the commitment to design and the generation of relationships between companies, with architects, designers and students, as well as with international fairs and public institutions during the Habitat Fair in 2019.
There, they presented their project in the presence of the president of the Board of Directors, Pablo Corral, and the new director of RED’s strategic and creative project, design trend researcher Marisa Santamaría.
RED AEDE OPENS AN ERA FOCUSED ON THE CONNECTION BETWEEN DESIGN COMPANIES AND SOCIETY
This new phase of RED AEDE begins at a particularly favorable time for the design sector, revitalized by the recovery of the National Design Awards and the prospect of Valencia as World Design Capital 2022. A nomination that, as Marisa Santamaría explains, represents a unique opportunity to promote and recognize the design sector, its designers, professionals and all companies linked to design in Spain.
“RED AEDE is at the center of this new outlook, through the creative and expansive strength of our partner companies. We are opening an era focused on the commitment to design and the generation of connections between companies, with architects, designers and students, as well as with international fairs and public institutions”.
